What if I am right?
The Michael J. Fox Foundation was established to conquer the disease. It has awarded over $2 billion in research grants. Sadly, while making major progress in understanding the disease, developing tests to diagnose the disease and advancing therapeutics to manage off-periods and side effects, the Foundation's research focus has not identified a therapy to conquer the disease.
And unfortunately, the Foundation is not interested in supporting our request for $5 million to fund a Phase 2A clinical trial. They've rejected our proposal without citing any data to show that our science is incorrect.
Our proposal was based on science.
It included several peer-reviewed studies showing that dopamine production was elevated in the dopaminergic neurons of people with Parkinson's.
It included data published in peer-reviewed journals detailing the effects of RB-190 in 9 laboratory models of the disease. In all of those models, reducing dopamine production reversed pathology.
It included an approach to dosing RB-190 designed to minimize and manage the theoretical risk of worsening Parkinson's symptoms - one that satisfied the FDA during review of our pre-IND application.
Since we submitted and the Foundation rejected our proposal, we started manufacturing the drug for the clinical trial - and the process will be completed next month.
We are on target to initiate dosing as early as March 2026 - as long as we can complete funding by Thanksgiving. Everything is lining up. And then we'll prove Parkinson's is not a disease of dopamine deficiency, at least not to the dopaminergic neurons, within ~6 months of initial dosing.
How can you make that a reality?
Of course we are looking for investors. But there is a simpler approach, one that does not require you risk your savings, master the science or spend the time checking out my background (though you are welcome to dig into the science and google me).
Your power is to contact the Michael J. Fox Foundation or any members of its patient council and ask them, what if Right Brain Bio has identified the way to conquer the disease? Ask them, why not support a novel approach such as Right Brain Bio's - because of the consistent science supporting their approach - in case it is the way to finally conquer the disease?
And then you can send this newsletter to all the people you know with Parkinson's or who know someone with the disease. And ask them to contact the Foundation to ask, what if Right Brain Bio is right about how to conquer Parkinson's?
We can conquer the disease.
